Major Adarshpal Singh, great grandson of Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha was the special guest on the occasion.
He narrated some well-known stories from the life of the great scholar, discovered some interesting entries from the main work “Mahankosh” by Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha and donated a picture of Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha to the College Library. Prominent Punjabi scholar Dr. Jagmel Singh Bhattaju was the keynote speaker.
He credited more than 30 years of research on the life and works of Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha. In his speech, he highlighted Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha’s contribution to Sikhism, Punjabi language and literature, classical music and knowledge gathering. He also donated two books on the life of Bhai Sahib to the college library.
Management, S.E.S. He encouraged the students and teachers to take inspiration from the good deeds and selfless ideals of Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha. Principal Dr. Navjot Kaur appealed to all present to imitate Bhai Sahib in his relentless search for knowledge. A special feature of the function was the exhibition of books on the life and works of Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha in the College Library.
